Custom Air intake/Plenum
Discussion
Hi Guys,
Some of you may know Luke on here (The Lukas?) He's basically my best mate and lives 5 mins from me and takes all the credit for the work done on his TVR - know him? Well while doing the engine swap he wanted to customise the plenum a bit, polish it up, some paint etc, then we though why not get rid of the ribs and put a tvr badge on. Sounds good. So was decided that it would have TVR on it and the middle would be either body colour (red) or whatever colour the block ends up.
Well here it is, iv been working on it for the last couple of weeks whenever iv had some time, I changed my mind though and painted the whole thing, Luke seems to like it (I think..) and the top is still unfinished, these were taken today after the final coat of paint, unsure yet whether to polish the tops so they are shiny, but not mirror polished, or to sand them symetrically and leave them 'brushed' looking. Either way undecided yet, just thought you might like to see it and comments most welcome.
Oh and see if you can spot the changes..
Doug.

and NO I don't just stand and watch and let them get amongst it...we've got video footage to prove it. But it's going to be sweet. Sooner the better.
