Hello all, I hope yu can help with a problem I have

The exhaust on my S2 has been getting increasingly rattly of late, especially when giving it some and +3000 revs. On a light throttle it is pretty quiet.

I'm guessing that the baffles in the silencer have come loose. I suppose I could go and just buy a new one, but at +£350, I wanted to see if it is possible to repair it in any way.

I'm sure I once saw a thread about cutting the silencer open, re packing/baffling it and then welding it up again....so any ideas would be welcome please.

Cheers

Check the exhaust isn't catching the chassis. Last year i had a knock at low speed usually when in reverse. Thought it could be any number of things. To be honest I'd forgotten about it till reading this post, have had the exhaust off over winter and put it back on a little bit further forward.
No knocking now.smile
