S Club at Coventry 2006(?)
Discussion
Gents,
For some of the longer term members of the S group, you may recall that the fund raising we did during the event at Coventry Motor Museum was for a charity my wife works for - Canine Partners.
The charity provides assistance dogs for wheelchair bound people. When I presented the cheque to the charity (about £350) I asked if we could have a puppy named with a TVR 'theme'.
Said puppy was duly christened 'Griff' (well you couldn't call a hound ESS - could you?).
Griff is now out with his partner in the Eastleigh area of Southampton, adding a new dimension to the person concerned.
So - if you're ever in the area, take heart in knowing that on that Sunday in June you helped a fellow human being overcome some of their disabailities.
