S1 window winder handles

Has anyone replaced the original winder handles with anything nicer? Driver's side is bit floppy & would like to replace, would be a good time to upgrade too

I got some really nice one's out of an Audi A4 from the scrappy. Similar to the originals except they are a nicer quality plastic and the metal backing is chromed.

That'll do nicely. The A3 metal one look a bit too 20,000-leagues-under-the-sea for me.
Are the A4 ones an easy fit?

Yeah, same single screw through the middle. They are pretty much identical to the originals, although I think I used the original plastic spacer instead of the Audi one.
Best just to grab the whole fixing, as in the winder, screw and spacer just in case. Then just screw straight on.

Have been keeping an eye out on the usual sales sites.. nothings come up yet. Are these units, or similar ones, found on any other Audi?

So, does anyone know if other Audi/ or other manufacturer's will fit without needing modification. Not having any luck getting A4 ones. Want similar looking ones to the original, just not knackered!
