Thinking about selling the S
Discussion
It's honestly hard to think of anything (at a realistic price) I would prefer to drive on the road, but given I'm looking to do a lot more track work I'm toying with the idea of selling the S.
It seems rather unfair to subject such a nice example to the rigours of track use and an S simply won't pass the noise test at some tracks either (it failed Brands Hatch last week on the standard exhaust). On the other hand its huge fun on the road, I've grown rather attached it to and I can't immagine anything replacing that noise. There's also the matter of the market at present - great if you're buying, possibly less so if you're selling?
Hmmm.

Don't tempt me! I had a ride in a Cerb at Brands Hatch last week...
Unfortuantely while I could just about afford to run the S as a track day car I think AJP or Speed 6 mechancials might be stretching it a little!
The main candidate is a supercharged MX5. The TVR is undoubtedly a nicer thing to own, but I could abbuse a utilitarian Mazda without remorse, whereas I feel compelled to keep the tiv shiny.
