Whilest doing various jobs on car (S3) over last few days (including Not getting gearbox out) found a little pocket sewn into the leathercloth covering on the lower steering column / switch cover. Any ideas what its for ? guess could put spare key there but bit obvious or maybe a pound coin for parking meter ? scratchchin

And, across back of car, between the two rear most body mountings was a tatty bit off alluminium (covering rear exhaust mount), looked bit homemade, is this standard ?

And, the two flexi-tubes from front of bonnet, do they (if not all split and perished)feed the "eyeballs" in the centre console or sides of footwells?

Think thats enough questions for one night.

Yes - Tom made some in stainless and gave them out at S Club last year.
You could ask him if he has any left ---> TJC46

Thankyou gentlemen, Toms stainless replacements do look rather good but for now I've cut one from a piece of black, square section plastic drain pipe, looks quite discreet. thumbup
