Hi all,

Firstly what a great day at Chatsworth it was great to see so many Tiv's and a good S turn out.
My question is about my bee sting ariel on the near side rear wing which has decided to snap off after being bent with the car cover.
How do I remove the existing ariel ?
What do you reccommend as a replacement ?

My Aerial "mast" unscrewed from the base and I simply replaced it with a £5 bee-sting from Tesco's which screwed straight in... every little helps as they say...

I could do pictures on friday if you like ?

K wink

Thanks Kevin pictures would be good. I was considering an electric ariel because the Bee sting one gets bent every time I put the car cover on. I was a little concerned about the ariel being near the filler cap and wondered how easy it was to plumb into the existing electrics.

Hi Chris
My car has two ariels (Stereo ?)
One is broken ~ here is a picture of that one.
The "legs" are inside the boot and when the nut is screwed down the whole assembly is held in place.
The threaded part should carry on and have a bit on it so that you can screw the actual ariel onto it. That's what's missing on mine.

If you do source a replacement let me know ~ I'll need one at least, possible two for a matching pair.
Cheers
Tim
