One thing I have notice whilst carryout some checks is that my V8s has wiring in the ECU loom and connected to the ECU for Lambda sensors, I assume that they are blanked off on the engine bay but they are terminated into the ECU plug. The resistor reading is also rated for a car with CAT.

I have been informed that this should not cause any problems, but seems a little strange; you would have thought they would have fit an appropriate non CAT loom.

Would it be worth disconnecting the lambda wiring from the ECU.

The engine map is determined by a resistor in the loom, is a green one for non cat (colour of the wires) and a white one for cat. I don't think disconnecting the lambda wires will achieve anything.

Some bedtime reading for you here

The tune resistor is for a CAT model, and mine is pre cats, any thoughts if I should change this.
