Hi chaps,

MoT time yesterday and another big sigh of relief. Only failed on o/s/f indicator not working (worked fine on the way, and on the way home!) However, when I got home it was not working ; switched the hazards on to ceck the bulb and no problem there. Tried the indicator again and it's fine. Also failed on horn so I'm beginning to suspect the column stalk could do with replacement - the horn will work if you have the knack but it's slack in the stalk. Anyone know where I can get one at a reasonable cost and quite quickly?

Also failed on number plate light although, to my mind, there is nothing wrong with it. Maybe just a clean of the lens ad bulb and we're through!

The one Chris has mentioned above is correct and will fit, but the escort switches don't have the offset of the TVR ones and hence sit a long way from the wheel when fitted. The arms are relatively simple to swap over though, but if it is your horn button that is faulty then I am not sure that will help.

Others have suggested heating and bending the arms - don't know how well that will work. I have a feeling that the arms actually came from the very very early sierras as I saw one recently with the offset and the column is Sierra so it would make sense.

Thanks all. Be aware that a Fiesta II stalk fits also. The pins correlate but you have to botch the horn wiring. Not until you try to finish the job and refit the cowls does it become apparent that the stalk has a small shroud at the steering wheel end which fouls the cowls and makes the whole thing u/s.

One thing to try Neil is the multi plug connector under the bonnet by the wheelarch, mine gave me problems today at the MOT station, what worked for me ws to split the plug and clean up the connectors and then re-connect making sure a coating of vaseline was used whistle worth a try before you start changing indicator stalks etc.
Cheers.....Tony..
