V8S cabin retrim
Discussion
I am going to have my cabin completely retrimmed in Magnolia leather but am not sure what colour carpet should go with it. My car is bright red but am not sure about red carpets, does anyone have a photo of an S with Magnolia seats/trim and red carpets!! The other options for the carpets are Black or Beige! Again any photos available to make up my mind???
Thanks in advance

I have a red S3 with what TVR call biscuit trim, with Mulberry piping. The carpets are again, what TVR call, magnolia with mulberry piping. This piping looks great against the red paintwork, but must admit the magnolia carpets show the dirt and grime. I’ll try and dig out some photo’s if your interested?

That would be great if you could send a photo cheers Mel.
Hi Mike,
Red carpets actually look rather good with magnolia edging and Mag seats. Black carpets I think look wrong with a red exterior (we decided against buying one V8S for this very reason). They just jar slightly but enough to look wrong. If you want to see how good red carpets/Mag seats and red exterior can look, have a look at most of Modena's output. At least 50% of Ferrari F355s came in this combination.

P.S. Think about doing the piping and dash top in a Dark red. There is nothing more irritating/dangerous than the dash reflecting in the windscreen on those bright/roof-down days.
