Well, as luck would have it, one of us one a great prize offered by Carizma at Melton Mowbray. I belive they currently have an offer of £84 + VAT for this work, so the prize is of a high value.

The prize is for a standard waxoil and therefore a much valued item.

The winner was James Tully who doesn't post on PH. He lives in Edinburgh and so the distance is too far for him to take advantage of it.

I spoke to him a few minutes ago and he has very kindly offered to auction off the voucher and the proceeds are to be put back to our choes charity!!!

This is a kind and generous offer which will be greatly apprecited.

I hope I'm not breaking any PH rules by posting this, hopefully people will undertsand if I am.

I propose to run the auction (this thread) until 16 June at mid day, the highest offer posted by then being the winner.

I hope that meets with the approval of all.

To start the ball rolling, I'll place an offer of £50.

Dave

(so you can check location etc http://www.carizma.co.uk/index.html)

Edit Note: Mods, I ran this past Garlick just after I posted it just in case I was accidentally in breach of any rules. Many thanks smile

Being a newcomer and having other things planned I never made the S trip.
I could just donate £20 to the charity though rather than nothing. How do you donate?

That's a great gesture clap

I'll email you through your profile and if you send me a cheque I'll pay it in with the money collected at the weekend.

Amusing that the prize was put up for auction as the winner was in Edinburgh, too far away.
Now the highest bidder is Lukas on the Isle of Wight eek

hehe

What is it actually for? Waxoil chassis? I need mine cleaned first, do they do that too? Yes my cars off the road but should be back in a week or two. Unless they want to come down to the Isle of Wight and do it!

How far is it lol

Ah it's in Leicester. 3+ Hours from Southampton. Where's the closest decent place from where I am? If it's not much difference...then why not a trip up North? cool

Lukas, Carizma is a quality outfit. They can do things involving a partial lift etc. Bodey work is the speciality.

Ben has a Testorrosa and a Chim, I'm not sure what Thomas has. They support TVR events regularly.

Melton is about 10 miles north of Leicester....

I may not have much net access the next 2 days, is the voucher a goer for you logistically?
