Hi,
I used the description in the Heath book. Worked fine.
Do you have a copy of the book or a fax machine I can fax you the relevant pages?

HI, just back from a whole weekend of beerdrink

Cheers steve for the offer, i don't have a fax.

Dean, i'll give the meperial 'n' impetric a miss, but cheers anyway.

My friend told me tappet adjustment, is something a 4 year old can do.

As long as the cam is at the top of its cycle, for a particular tappet,
it dos'nt matter about anything else. Just do it while engine is cold.

The only reason for doing it in a certain sequenece, is to make it
quicker, so you just turn the crank, and do whatever tappet is at the right place.

If you follow these instructions, and blow your car up, blame my mate, not me.

He is very knowledgable, with engines, and i trust him..........

If you can see any probs with above, please post them,

Hope you all had a good day with roof off driving.

A wee kip for me now, cheers for any responce. Johnny

Follow this link

http://www.tvrsseries.com/

Has a section about tappet adjustment.

From my Granada manual tappets should be set

Inlet 0.35mm (0.014in)

Exhaust 0.40mm (0.016in)
