Chassis Treatment?

Having had the nearside outrigger on my S2 replaced in 2005, I've just finished de-rusting & repainting both outriggers (at least the ground is warm to lie on in the summer!).

I've never used any treatment over the paint before (although the new steel was lightly Waxoyled over the paint).

Any suggestions or experience with any chassis treatment products?

Outriggers I would definitely cover in wayoxl. but for the exposed parts of the chassis (under the bonnet) if you still want to see red paint and not waxoyl grime then consider using ACF50 - get it on fleabay at around £13.00 a 400ml spray can - it goes a long way...

Found this stuff very good and excellent to apply.

They also do some stuff called Dynax UB which is better for under the car/outriggers. Not on the site yet but give them a ring about it.
Like the stuff in the link very easy to apply and goes a long way.

+1 for the Bilt Hamber stuff, Dynax UB is particularly nice to apply, though you do need at least 2 coats.

I've also used their electrox zinc primer which also goes on brilliantly too. (used on my fuel tank before Dynax UB).

For those hard to get in at places I use Dinitrol 3125 cavity wax(@£12 delivered), its in a 400ml spray can, has a longer nozzle aplicator tube, fluid when sprayed then forms a waxy coating, website says "this product has the ability to creep into the small nooks and crannies that the thicker product is not able to." It seems to do that ok for me

What colour does the Dynax UB dry, I want to be able to see the chassis colour through the wax protection that I use?

Any other suggestions of what to use?

Dynax dries brown, I have got some as advised by Wiz, not applied yet but it will be going on although I want to be able to see the nice red chassis rails I have spent the last month and a half stripping, rust proofing and repainting so may just do the hard to reach bits on the riggers and the areas you can't see without taking the tub off.

Have to admit Dynax doesn't look great but it's doing the job.
