Many many thanks to chrischat for the tickets - what a geat day!!!

First long run for gerald obvously a bit nervous about going some 350 ish miles but he ran a dream, went down thursday afternoon (to stay with cousin at Arundel) boiling hot then 15 miles of stationery traffic on A 34 near Newbury. Fan cut in and out as required never went over 92/3 degrees. Arrived quite unphazed but very hot.

ETA Gerald used about half a cup of water the whole trip and I needed aout 6 bottles of water

Went to Festival of Speed yesterday quite early and arrived in field with one half full so got pole position for the other half

(thanks bridgdav)

Had a great day, saw a Tuscan, two Griffs and two Chims on route or in car parks but nothing TVR on the hill, the only presence I saw was this

Among the anniversaries being marked at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is 75 years of the German ’silver arrows’. This name was first applied to the cars raced by Auto Union (fore-runner of the modern Audi) and Mercedes-Benz from 1934 and they were fantastic

Great day out and I'm so happy with Gerald

The coupe version of that car is owned by a member of our local tvrcc.

Has owned for a long time and i think is the only one aside from the convertible still left out of the four prototypes made in the UK

Relax dont do it !!!! Oh no, that was Frankie goes to Hollywood. Jos Wymeersch, long time TVR enthusiast and TVR racer owns one of the coupes in Holland and Chuck Linn has the other in US I think
