Throttle cable 2.8 S1

Does anyone know where i could get a throttle cable for a 2.8 TVR, or does anyone have one for sale? I'm finding it imossible to find one.

As far as I know the 2.8 throttle cable is widely available from factors and the like, it's the 2.9 one that is hard to come by

I have found a cable for a 2.9, but the 2.8 is obsolite. I spoke to TVR Car Parts who could get one made if i send the old one, and David Gerald who also couldn't locate a cable. Not to mention loads of other enquiries sent out.
If you know of a supplier, could you please give me the info.

2.8 throttle cables often turn up on eBAY, like this one, but 2.9 cables are rarer as they were fitted to fewer cars.

Both cables are obsolete.

Im still running with the temp repair I made.
I did receive a replacement from TVR car parts.I keep that as a spare.
