Annoying little squeak

Since fitting AVO's have a very noticeable squeak from suspension. If I grab hold of rear wheelarch and sort of lift and push seems to be from the shocks but on rebound rather than compression ? squeak squeak

Is this common ? reluctant to put oil or the like on piston as this will hold dirt etc. Any other ideas ?

Did you 'oil' the bushes?? Or is it behind the steering wheel?????????????

This reminds me of when I came off a roundabout to find a small dog in the way. The child had let it off the lead and couldn't get it back nnder control. Sadly I couldn't stop in time and ran the little fellah over. The girl was really distressed, crying etc and kept calling to it. I asked her for the dogs name and she replied Rusty. I thought that was the case because it made a squeak when I ran it over

I think i recall being told or i may have read it on hear, a squeak squeak from suspension will occur if you tighten the fixings/nuts without the wheel/hub being under load. how did you fasten yours, may be you can disprove the point.

Let us know if you find the cure.

Only annoying noise i get usually comes from the passenger seat, especially when the roofs down

At about headrest height by any chance ? I think I know what that might be Alan ...
I have a similar one which kicks in at any speed above 60...
