Trying to find the thread on coolant hoses someone did a while ago, I need to replace the 2 which connect the bottom of the rad to the block/pump, they have a steel pipe between them, anyone know any part numbers or have the link. Its the v6 engine. Tried searching but it says there is a problem with the search function on the site and Id like to get the bits today if possible.

Hi Ken i noticed in your pic some nice and shiney stainless steel tube. If you intend to use these remember you must flare out the ends, you will be surprised at the pressures within the cooling system, i fitted some tube without flaring the ends and as soon as the car was up to temp/pressure it blew the hoses clean off.
Mine went recently. Bought one from here --> http://www.actproducts.co.uk/shop/cooling-hose-kit...
Came next day and fitted same day. No drama. About £50. Used old metal centre. Cleaned it first !

Thanks Tom, good point, I managed to get the RH1702 Hose for £10.10 and the SS pipes off ebay for about £3-4ea, I couldnt get anyone to roll me a lip on the pipe at short notice so I just ran a bead of weld all the way round it about 12mm from the end and it works fine, looks good as well. ooh err,, shiny bits on my car, before you say it! And yes Ive cleared the Garage as well
