Help! - any one got an injector

for a '92 V8S (ie 4L RV8) plus seals? I'm near J20 on the M25 so I can pick up if available locally. I'm also on the lookout for an inlet manifold as some bright spark in the past has bodged one of the threaded holes where the fuel rails are secured with a self tapper. There seems to be lots of complete manifolds complete with fuel rails and injectors on ebay for very little money but none mear me! Sod's Law. Many thanks Joe

I've got a few kicking around (Milton Keynes), but they aren't new and have been stored dry for some time so I couldn't promise what state they're in.

If the thread is too badly damaged to be usable, would you consider fitting a thread insert?

I'll see you at Tring on Friday. So long as the old seals hold, running on 7 but that doesn't seem to be a problem.

Can't you just drill the hole out a bit bigger (metric) and tap it to fit a new bolt?

Unfortunately not. The previous bodger drilled a hole beside the snapped bolt and put in self tapper which split the casting. So by the time its been welded etc it will probably be cheaper to get a s/h one. Does anyone know if a Land Rover will be ported the same as the one TVR used?

Yes, I'll bring a couple with me. Should be there from around 7:30 onwards. (I'll be the one wearing a green V8S.)
