Recon fuel injectors

My S3 has now done about 70,000 miles, once summer is definately over top ends coming off the engine for a bit of inside and out "make over".
So, at this sort of mileage should I be including a set of reconditioned injectors or go with the old "it ain't bust don't mess with it" theory ?
Looking through some old service schedules would appear they are not a service item but did come across a couple of other queries:
6000 miles - change oil pump end plate seal ?? (maybe on 2.8s not 2.9s ?)
24000 miles - replace fuel anti surge pot ?? ( is that the funny little gizmo in fuel pipe between tank and pump, think Norman ran a thread on it little while back ?)

I am sure you can have your existing injectors cleaned and tested for wear. You need to remove them and take them to a specialist, I have not done it myself but it may save you some money if they are ok.
Yeah, thats what I meant, send my (spare set) injectors to be cleaned 'n tested i.e. reconditioned !70000 divide by say 30mpg = 2333 gallons divide by 6 injectors = 388 gallons of fuel has passed through each one !
