MOT - Passed ! Now for the list

MOT yesterday and passed first time with no advisorys (sp?)

Took the S to a local garage yesterday for service and MOT. The MOT was no problem and they serviced it aswell. Jobs done

Filters
Brake clean
Under body check of chassis and all bolts

All for the princely sum of £120!

Now that the MOT is out the way what other jobs would you guys recommend I do this winter the list so far includes

Reattach various bits of trim that have started to come loose
Grease the steering UJ's (a tip from Jaye)
Paint touch up after my mate decided to put some of his paint work on mine.
Sort the ride height out (about 40mm low at the moment)

What else in your experiences should I be doing this winter to keep the car in the tip top condition it is in at the moment.

Hi Andy and congratulations on the MOT... its always nice to get that one out of the way...

Your car looked pretty well sorted to me so I cant imagine the list is long, but maybe you should drop the exhaust and grease the front propshaft UJ (its an often overlooked job because of its location but is essential)

Let me know when you have it to bits so I can pop in for a coffee and a chat...

Might be time to replace the exhaust clamps for the lower profile version m????

Yes the Mikalor type are definitely worthwhile for that extra bit clearance... especially at the pace you go on those bumpy roads

The antifreeze and brake fluid should be replaced every couple of years so if not done recently you could/should do that. The gearbox and diff oils should also according to the manual be replaced each year - a bit of an overkill here (based on the original Ford donor car servicing info) but everyone to their own. The dreaded clean/waxoyl is always a good one to look forward to (and one you should be doing as well) - you can get really dirty doing that .... take the battery off the tray and give that a good clean if that hasn't been done as well or any sort of acid on it will eventually eat it away ..
