Had mine replaced last year as my pre-purchase inspection reported them as soft, however the current service has reported them as being very soft and it appears the weird noise I've been getting is the sump against the anti-roll bar.

Could the mounts have softened this much in a year, or should I get in touch with the original fitters for a ?

Seems unlikely they'd deteriorate in a year.

We're they new when fitted?
We're they actually changed?
Are they the correct ones?

hi tripps, their are two sizes for the s and they my have replaced them with the smaller ones.being new they are more solid but as time goes by start to sag.i think mine are 2inch instead of 1 1/2inch thus keeping the sump higher over the roll bar,as mikee boy said check the sizes are right.

It was by a main dealer so I'd damn well hope they were new and actually done.

Correct - that I don't know :ruffles through service history for receipt:, I I have is 2 x Mounting (S29E 10009) at £14.50 each. Does that sound about right?

I had mine replaced a while back and the garage had a hell of a job determining which ones were needed.

I remember from last year they spent ages calling around to find them, from a Citreon/Saab or something starting with an "S" sound I kind of recall in a hazy fashion.
