Something inside my exhaust was rattling and resonating, getting worse by the minute, time had come to do something about it.
So spent my weekend cooking up a new exhaust for my S3, basic ingredients required are :

A genuine old stock TVR V8s exhaust (ebay)
Pair extra long down pipes (made at a very fair price by www.jmlengineering.co.uk )
A Y piece (all my own work)






Doesn't quite look like that coz left hand tailpipe fouled fuel tank outlet so bit more cutting and welding and tailpipes are now parallel as standard but bigger bore !
Took a bit more effort than first imagined but well worth it, I think sounds great. Ok its not stainless but with change from 50 quid I'm happy.


Ps this is what happens when you leave things lying around at work while you pop out for 10 minutes . . . .
