Earthing Point For Heater Fan

The earth wire to my heater fan isn't working. From the connector near the heater fan it isn't giving an earth path. The wire disappears into the harness and I was wondering if anyone knows where it earths to at the other end?

I've put in a temporary earth wire but would ideally like to fix the faulty one if I can.

on mine there are a whole bunch of "earths" soldered into one terminal and bolted down onto the n/s diagonal brace going down to the outriggers, sort of under the screenwash bottle from memory (too cold to go and have a look). Could be one of that bunch ?

Also seem to recall a wire or two being earthed to one of the bolts that secure the transmission tunnel end of the steering column support bracket, but thinking about it, can't see how thats "connected" to the main chassis ?
