up, well had the Wife with me!!
Had a nice drive from Surrey to Silchester, my ex boss is a Morris Dancer (yes I know) and was doing his thing at the village Pub.

Here in Scotland my car has been snowed in since the 22nd December!!
Desperate to get it out for a spin lucky you..

The twisty lanes leading to the Pub were covered in ice, it felt like I had power steering!! Some of the surrounding fields still had snow in them.

I did this last year, despite a bit of ice here and there - great fun.

Not so easy this year: first I have to move my other car to get the car out of the garage:



and then the rest of the street doesn't look any better:



So I decided to wait until the little bit of snow and ice had subsided somewhat. It's been like that for a fortnight so I'm not expecting that to be any time soon.

Hi.
Also got the S out yesterday for a couple of hours. First time I have had the roof off since I bought it and apart from being a bit parky, it was great fun.
Hosed down the underside before putting the cover back on (it lives outside) and by the time I had it sorted, the water on the drive had frozen solid.
Great fun though.

Glad someone else was out, I went for a 3+ hour jaunt into the New Forest yesterday as well...roof off though

No snow or ice down here (well apart from a few puddles at the side of the road frozen over) had a great day until I couldn't feel my fingers anymore.

Was nice to see a few other convertible classics out for a drive too. Saw a gorgeous Morgan, 3 MGBs and and some lovely old car (from the '20s by the look of it) with a guy who looked about as old as the car with the best handlebar mustache I have ever seen!

Got a wave from all the MGB drivers which was nice. Also got a 'happy new year' to a woman I stopped to let across the road.

All in all a great days driving





(Really need to wash the car!)
