The reason is I have seen many different S layouts of Dash etc. I was just wondering what layout went with what model, S1 & S2 all wood, S3 up is completly different.
And to have a good nose at the different interior colours so I can start the long process of choosing the best colour to suit myself

S3 had new shape straight dash, some like pics above, some with S2 knobs, no wood/elec mirrors like mine:
The wood on the S3 looks nicer than the black insert in mine, but the wood isn't even a veneer, but painted on - very impressive, but flakes off easily - and the black 'leather' contrasts nicely with the cream.
Note however if you're going for S3 onwards - electric mirrors (like Griff) are positioned so you can use both of them. Earlier ones from S1/2 need to be positioned like bunny ears to see anything and look ridiculous.
As you can see from the pic, I've gone for looks over safety (can see bu66er all with passenger mirror positioned like that!)yellabelly said:
Andy,
Your interor looks really good, the cream leather certainly suits the mica blue.
Sadly, this is an old shot from a previous owner. When I got it it had been badly resprayed a rather odd purple blue and the interior had been poorly recoloured in magnolia. The body will get re-sprayed black at some point and the colouring on the leather is actually coming off a bit every time I clean it. I will get it back to the original colour eventually. By comparison to the magnolia colour it is almost white underneath, and I haven't seen many S interiors that light before.
