Anti Roll Bar Brackets

Looking at the chassis on my car I compared the nice bright and shiney steering rack brackets with the manky, rusty one holding down the anti roll bar and thought - I can do better than that.

So starting to investigate the possibility of new brackets either in alloy or stainless steel.

Firstly - Comments/suggestions, is it a good idea, will people be interested etc etc

Secondly - To establish some idea of prices I will investigate BUT there are three types of ARB fitted to the S, 26mm diam, 24mm diam and 22mm diam (S4 and V8 also griff and chim). I have a 24mm ARB and brackets but need brackets from the other two diameters.

Thirdly - Can anyone lend me brackets for the 24/22mm diam bars, theres no point in just being able to supply one of three

For some odd reason I have the 22mm ARB
It is off the car at the mo ~ how long would you need the brackets for?
I'm happy to lend you mine as long as it's not for weeks.

I'd be interested in this too - I don't want to get a nice shiny chassis back and then bolt a load of manky parts to it.

Hi Norman,
I suspect the brackets are identical and it's just the size of the hole in the bush that differs. Superflex do all three sizes of bush, so they should be able to confirm or otherwise.

As for desirability, I'm with Phillpot I'm afraid...!

Theres definitely at least two types of bracket as I can see that mine (26mm dia ARB) are Ford and have a rib whereas Tim's for his 22mm ARB are a flat section bracket

You can still buy new Brackets - nice shiney plated one of the Ford ribbed Type that I have if its bling you want... I painted mine
