Finally started the pre-flight checks!

After ignoring the S for over 6 months, I have finally started preparing her for Classic in July.
Few questions really:
She's been outside for the whole time, although under a plastic roof mounted off the side of the garage, surrounded by fence on 3 sides and under a water-proof cover.
Is there anything in particular I need to look for after sitting for that amount of time?
I took her for a brief drive up and down the road, everything seemed to work, brakes etc.
I'm thinking fluid changes, maybe check the discs for rust, water in the brake fluid, hardening of rubber mounts.
I forgot how good it felt to drive and she started first time on the key. I've had the battery disconnect the whole time so i'm guessing the ECU will need to settle back down again.
Can't wait to start tinkering again, I thought my life was missing something of recent...

Seroiusly welcome back to the land of the living. I suspect just a good check round will be all you need to do, unlikely water would have got into the brake fluid etc, rubber mounts wouldnt have hardened much if at all, disk will have become rusty but two/three applications will sort that out. Just drive with caution for a day or so.
Have been thinking of suggesting a West Mids S meet up and of this month begining of April one sunday, up for it??

May not be in the S though. She's being stored at my Granparents due to our garage being overcrowded with Wedges and AC Aceca's.
I've got a few trips down to her planned over the coming month, with a view to get her MOT'd there and driven back up. Still in the process of re-bending one of my manifolds after reversing off the drive and snagging the exhaust clamp.
Aside from that and the usual wiring check, should fly through.

After re-bending my exhaust manifolds back into postion and using a large quantity of exhaust paste, I set the MOT date for the 7th of May.
Well, it was going to be May.
I've been down to my Grandads this weekend to do some work on his '56 AC Aceca. Saturday morning I realised I had a few spare hours and thought I would see if I could book the S in for it's MOT a few weeks early.
I didn't really expect much. She's been sat for a good 7 months now and part from the occasional run up to temperature, hasn't been run.
The idea was that I'd get a nice list back from the garage on the jobs I'd need to do prior to the MOT on the 7th.
I had a fantastic drive over to the garage and instantly fell in love with her again.
I get the phone call to come pick her up , I didn't ask the results over the phone as I like the suspense.
When I arrive, not only has she PASSED, but she passed with NO ADVISORIES!!!
I did question the standards of the garage, but my grandad insists he's been using them for years, they MOT his Aceca, Volvo and (until he recently sold it) his Chimera. So they must be reasonably reputable. The only comment they made was that my washer jets were a bit crap. I told him they were probably crap when they rolled of the production line, to which he agreed.
I'm over the moon and with my new insurance quote (half on last year), she should be on the road in 2 weeks.
