Help needed please

Hi,

This is not a plug but would be very grateful for some advice. (Im new to the tvr section as i normally lurk around porsche and scotland sections)

An older chap who does a bit of work with us currently has an S1, he is looking to sell and a) being no comprende computer and b) no comprende tvr pricing has asked me to help him.

The car is a red s1 with creme leather, its an 88 E 2.8 V6 with 62k on clock, Its seen very little use in recent years although starts perfectly and will have a full years mot. Its not for sale at the moment but I'm struggling to find any for sale to try and establish a value.

Internally it looks very well and externally also, its had a new fan system and alternator and theres a load of receipts (used to be a s heaven owner prior to my colleagues)

Could anyone give me an idea of what it should be going into the classifieds at.

Decent and with MOT I'd say a broad range of £2500 (tatty) - £4500 (mint) , but thats a wild guess without seeing it.

Mine is identical to yours and I paid £2k in Sept (needed new hood and drivers seat). Had MOT till June 10 but no tax (same mileage)

we sold one last year about the same, 10k more miles though, got 2200 for it, left us with an mot and 6 months tax
