SCH2010 Runway Time

Costs finalised now and need another 2 cars to keep the cost at £25 and allow a donation to be made to Help 4 heroes from this part of the event (have 2 provisionals but you need to sign up). With another 6 (including 2 above) I will be able to drop the costs to £20 per car so come on get signing up

I have the numbers required to make the max cost £25 (even though one participant will be in an MGZS - V6 - but he is my step son, and my webmaster, does the website for me, owns the gbsportscar domain name and loves British cars so I am sure we can forgive him).

Still a anymore sign ups will reduce the price or increase the charity donation so get joining in

I will post the disclaimer soon, I am writing it as we speak, but there is no specific requirement, but common sense should be applied. Helmets, noise restrictions etc are not required (as we are not allowed to "race" as this is for time trials/speed testing). I would suggest that for common sense long trousers and long sleeves are worn and if you have a helmet then wear it (I don't own one so have no intention of wearing one). All cars must be road worthy and hold MOT cert (i.e. arrive under own steam and not on a trailer - as I don't intend to ask you to prove it just sign for it on disclaimer) as this will show demonstrate "reasonable safe" criteria.

I suspect my risk assessment when completed will require long sleeves etc but little, if anything, else.

That's good common sense Mark, helmets would be best, long sleeves and maybe gloves. It's unlikely anyone will have a problem, but if they do then it would be better to have some prtection, expeically for any youngsters.

Fire extinguisher would be good too, and nothing loose in the cockpit
