Took the S off the island at the weekend and really enjoyed it! However at constant motorway speeds, it felt it needed another gear? At 3500 rpm at 0.8 leptons, it feels it wants to sit lower. Any suggestions?

B. stick to B roads/country lanes

More seriously do know what you mean (not sure what a lepton is though ?)often find myself going for another gear when already in fifth, I put this down to daily drive being a six speed oil burner thats barely ticking over at 70 !

Its not a problem over here, the limit is 70 you know

At 3,500 rpm she`s only just getting into her stride, mainland roads are so much better too

Leptons

I know what you mean. As zombeh said I keep ear plugs for long journeys, or i just get off the motorway and go cross country if it gets too much.

That or you can cruise at 60 and look/feel like a in a stupidly loud car




Oh and the mph to Lepton exchange rate is very approximately 1:0.01 if that helps

I've gone for better acceleration and lowered the top speed to what should be attainable 135 at 6000 by fitting a 4.27 LSD and 17" rims
