I refitted my oil pressure gauge sender to my oil pump - there is a small brass adaptor that mates the sender unit to the oil pump.
Anyway when I replaced it with no effort turning the brass union at all it flaming well snapped straight off.

I rang Racing Green as they had what I thought was it listed for a pre serp griff, but they weren't sure (fair play) and they advised that I ring David Gerald TVR.
I rang them to see if they had one - nope - but they said they would machine one up for me - and they did. The Price for this bit of hand made TVR? £6.75 + vat.
Tip top or what? (and that includes sealing washer).

They also only charged £3 delivery
Also the new union is a far better design than the old one - pics below.

Old and new side by side - the arrangement now avoids having that eggshell thick brass wall between the 2 diameters.

Recommended again - I just rang them for the 2 gaskets that go between the ends of the exhaust manifold flanges and the Y piece - in stock and out for delivery for just over £15.

Considering what a low volume part it is I'm happy with that, they will entertain first class post which is great - it means small parts don't end up costing a stupid amount of money due to courier charges.

I tried a few local exhaust places but none of them had anything - then when you start thinking about how much fuel you are using whats the point? - Just order them!
