I have just removed the headlamps to renew the reflectors as they are very rusty. MOT next week and it was an advise last year. The chrome ring seems to be sealed to the glass and is also in a bad way.
Anybody been here?
As they are a standard 7inch [] someone must keep them on the shelf.

RichardR asked if I had any pics of the peninsula sports exhuast a while ago. I have just sorted the posting of pics [technophobe].
I feel realy guilty putting this on now Rich .
I hope you get sortted your car looked the Biz.

I know Andyf007 has replaced the lights on his S for some very nice better ones.

Original thread here. They appear to be very good value.

the chrome ring which appears sealed to the glass is held on (unless modified) by three screws on the rear with locating strips

Just undo the three screws. keep the locating strips and push the glass out simple

The place i got a new unit from is out of stock sorry

I can see the sealant xs on the inside of the unit ,screws are out already .it must be a good idea to seal them in ,as the bible says water seems to get in everywere but whatever was used is set like iron .
I will just have to refitt them till I can sort some new ones.
Thanks anyway.

Contemplated changing mine and as they are the same as the mini I thought www.plminishop.com seemed quite reasonable.

Check out any mini suppliers. There are ring versions and a Wipac version. The Wipac ones are nicer as they have a rounded off egde.

Thanks for the pic Dale (no need to feel guilty ). I do love the look of those pipes! Did you notice much difference with the sound?

One day...

Dogs howlling, little children running home screaming, cracks opening up the the drive, birds falling from the trees.

Fitting such a thing shouldn`t be legal.

Not alot of difference really.
