What a fantastic day! I envy anyone who lives in this part of the world, expecially when the weather is a good as this. Awesome awesome roads

We're back

A fantastic trip and great company. Longers, many thanks and excellent organising!!!

Stuck to speed limits all the time of course, saw a fairly unmarked police R1 in Scotland (that's cheating!). Very good roads, hotels and even weather (mostly).

Thanks to Kev and Tim for meeting up today and shepherding us back to the A68

Han, hope you caught the ferry OK. I was most impressed that Anita can sleep in your car at, erm, 70 mph

Thanks Dave, it was certainly an epic trip. Stunning scenery with the most unbelievable roads that just kept coming. I've certainly not experienced anything like it before.

Kev's run through Kielder certainly made crossing the border a lot more entertaining than coming down the A1

Only casualties were my exhaust bracket & a cracked headlight lens from a stone, plus Han's interior mirror dropping off. Oh, and your bullet cam didn't work, but then it is yours and it is electrical...

I'll sort some pic's & vid clips out and post them here when I've had a chance to catch my breath

It was a truly amazing drive through Scotland. Excellent company, roads, hotels and weather. Couldn't wish for more !! Like you said , best drive ever.

I enjoyed our short drive down from Kielder Castle ~ I know you all had a great time up in Scotland.

As someone else has said it would be nice to see your route plan (with definate do and dont's)for those who would like to follow your tracks.

It was an absolute pleasure meeting you both, Anita did well with the malt and amazingly well to be asleep during spirtied driving. You are rather quick Han (within speed limits of course).
