S2 Inertia switch

Does anyone know where to find the inertia switch I have been told behind the glove box under dash or behind engine on the bulkhead can't see it in either place on mine. I have no voltage at the fuel pump and have changed the relay and checked fuse the car cut out soon after hitting a large pothole which is why I suspect the switch.
Did you check the yellow connector in the steering column mentioned in the previous thread?
You need to remove the steering column cover to get to it - and then pull the yellow connector apart and look inside - it will look OK from the outside.
It does sound like a general power problem so I'd look at this first.
I presume when you hard wire up the fuel pump it is whirring away even if the engine doesn't start?
There's also a connector on the nearside rocker cover than can give issues too, but nowhere near as common as the yellow fatherless connector
