The "I can't go to S Club" topic

For the first time in a long while I'll not be able to get to S Club this year. Long hours at work recently (inc unpaid weekends), and 3 long trips this year in the S to Scotland, Le Mans & the Alps all mean family time is being squeezed harder than ever...

Having been part of the organising team for the last 2 years I know the effort that goes into the event, the apprehension before hand and the worry about the weather. Well, it's all looking good for this weekend, here's to a great one guys & girls

For anyone else that cannot make it, feel free to add a reply to this thread for some group therapy

Sadly this is the first year I have missed since i have had my car.
A holiday to Portugal and `Le Mans` awaits either side for me. (not all bad eh ?)

Will be going but only as a spectator as surgeon will not let me drive anything which hasn't got power steering for the rest of the YEAR. That rules out both TVR's

My pathetic excuse this year is that my S is still in bits while I fiddle with it rather than put it back together and I've run out of tyres and brakes on my other car.

Too much working abroad for me recently - I need to let my wife and kids know that dad is me, and not the milk man...so not this year.

However, part 2, the S-Club Euro tour to the alps in Sept is on - sings "On days like these...etc"

The Badger i hit tonight was doing his best to stop me going tomorrow , i will have a more thorough look for damage in the morning . I must say there is some pathetic excuses coming out , expect dog eat my car anytime soon .
The only upside of tonight's excursion was a chance to see what the car would look like with a red stripe down the side .
