V8s won't start and am stuck 80km from home...
How do I open the boot, or how do I get the boot open??
Need to get home and would appreciate anyone who can answer here

Because the battery us dead, the boot release is electric and and the battery is in the boot so I cannot jump start...

Before you shoot me, is it possible to jump start at the starter motor ? in an emergency of course.

Well managed to open the boot (thanks again Dale) and thus get the car started but..now the boot will not shut and mechanism is broken...anyone any pictures as to what it should like??

Can I buy a new mechanism anywhere (TVR parts?)

You welcome , glad you got in . Are you certain its broken not just jammed open , give it a lube and try and push the catch back . Sorry not got my S any more so can't send you a pic . Still going to S club though . Assume we will be seeing you there Mark
