Paul at Austec sold me a set of S1 style OZ slots a while back (fairly cheaply ) which he used to run their race cars round the pits on - they were naturally all completely painted a nice shade of light blue to compliment the orange team livery ! I've now had them stripped and refurbed by "Spit & Polish" who also detailed them at my request in Mica Blue to match the V8S's colour rather than black. New boots too (RE71s via Micheldever) and not much change out of £ Whaddya think? (Apart from new centre caps and locking nuts required! )

They look excellent Keith, how much did Spit'n'Polish charge for the refurb and detailing, if you don't mind me asking. Would like to do something similar to the Chim ones if I don't change completely.

Cheers, Al.

Very nice! Looks like they did a great job. I to am interested in the $$$$ amount, only for comparison, from the UK to Canada. I had my T Slot on my 5000M done. They were machined, painted and clear coated, not polished. My S wheels likely only have a couple more years before I need to do something.

Dave, I didn't phone you because I decided to send them away anyway - I am taking the tyres off this Saturday and hopefully the wheels will be collected in the afternoon. They quoted me the same price as yours.

Em... don't s'pose you have one spare wheel (even an old steel one) that I could borrow for a week do you? Don't really want to leave the car on axle stands...

Ok guys, £160 all in by SnP and the rims only were picked up from a garage where a mate works. btw the centres (not the centre caps) are also finished in mica blue although Im not sure thats too clear from the pics. The 4 tyres were £280.
