V8S Wheels

There was a thread recently where somone was trying out different whhels. Anyone know the link/date?

I've some 5 spoke (Chim/Grif?) 4 stud wheels I'm looking at fitting to my V8S but the original wheel nuts seem far too short. Any suggestions?

Only put them on temporary for photo with two nuts each but they must have reached ?

When you say the nuts are too short do you mean the studs don't stick through the wheel far enough ? looking at my spare wheels, Oz 8 spokes and Chimaera Imola's, the distance from where the nut seats to the back of the wheel looks near as damn it the same.

just out of interest are you fitting 15" all round or 15" front 16" rear as done on Chimaeras ?

The studs protrude far enough for the old nuts to tighten up fine. It's just that the top of the nut is very deep inside the wheel, so what I want are some longer nuts. They are 15" all round.

On the 8 spoke wheels thats how they are - I didn't see it as a problem.
I'm not sure if you will be able to get longer nuts or not.

It's personal taste. I thing the wheel nuts set off the centre of the wheel.
