Rad Flush

Evening Guys - Attempted to flush my rad again as water still murky (car runs fine no overheating etc just want it clear / cleaner) Flushed it tonight and got both rad and engine running clear but think the rust maybe in the heater matrix so unable to flush without running to temp etc. Added some rad flush to the system and will run car as advised then drain again, hopefully it will flush the cr*p out of the heater when the thermostat opens and then when I drain it and flush it again it should be a whole lot better. Anyone used holts rad flush or been there seen it done it so I know whether I am onto a winner or not. TIA Damon (S3 V6) Bet the neighbours love me running the S up to temp at half 9 in surburbia -

The show was fantastic 250 + cars, ended up turning people away because they ran out of parking in the town centre. Had a few tvr's; wedge, griff my S and Norman brought his Trident out for the evening.
Not sure about tomorrow text me first.

I've flushed a heater matrix out before by connecting the garden hose up to it and running water through in both directions a few times. Just beware if you have a posh block paved drive as it will look like your car has had a poo!
I did it on a granada 2.3 V6 and the muck that came out was incredible.

Hi Chris - too late already stained the black pave from first flush but it will fade as it gets plenty of sun. Planning to run it tomorrow to loosen the rust and whatever else is in there then ditch the water etc. See what happens...TBC
