bonnet damage

Just coming back from roar 2010 and a metal object came flying across the motor way
hitting my bonnet and windsreen
photos will follow

only just resprayed it

will have to be rubbed down and resprayed may need a new windsreen

Nightmare hope its not too bad Tink. Had similar last week big stone from a truck hit the roof of my daily drive, made a right bang, thankfully no damage.

Thats crap Tinks, I'd consider an insurance claim if its going to be expensive - thats what it's for.

Hope it's ok, some chavs threw a rock at our S yesterday when driving through town, luckily it hit our [glass] back window and bounced off so no damage.

been to the body shop today, going to have it resprayed next week, same person as last time
he was shocked to see it in this state
was going to leave it till we came back from euro tour but am at 1 show per w/end

been to see the s bonnet today,all done looks nice again ,pick up in morning
still waiting for the windscreen to be done, told monday ,had to wait to find a screen
think they just fogot, wanted it done while bonnet was being done
never mind

Have you considered getting that protective film Armourfend for the bonnet? Provided you had the whole bonnet done you'd not see any lines

On reflection I wish I'd thought about getting mine done after it was resprayed. Too late for me now...

You'd have needed armour plating to have protected it from that sort of damage! Maybe order a bullet proof windscreen? Good to hear it's all fixed again and no injury to you.

Mrs Tinks stayed in for so called windscreen firm to come and fit the long awaited one,
no show ,complained said we can make an appointment
what the hell did i make last time
my insurance told me to go where i want now and get it fitted and thats ok with them
