Mini-Meet at Snake Pass Inn

As discussed in the cold dark winter months, I'm aiming to have a run out to the Snake Pass Inn next week on wednesday night (or tuesday?) from near Huddersfield over the Woodhead Pass then Glossop over Snake Pass to the reservoir and back as far as the Inn for a pint (at around 7.00 pm) before heading back again...

Anyone up for the run out and/or the meet ?

Would love to - however! Can't do Tuesday date - due to 'Dad's Taxi' commitments. I may be up for Wednesday, however, at this point I'm not sure whether I have to be down in Birmingham all day (therefore won't get back in time).

Should find out regarding Birmingham in the next day or so - will let you know.

well I'm in Clayton West (next to the light railway) on the Denby Dale road off J39 so we could meet here - I was aiming to go to New Mills (near Holmfirth) take the sheffield road and then onto the woodhead pass,glossop then snake pass...

anytime that suits mate... give me a call when you come off the M1 ...

Theres always room for a TVR of any description...

we'll be a bit later than that but if you are hanging around (that'll be a first for a cerbie ) we'll be there around 7'ish I would expect...

7 is better for me, i'll be the forty something bloke in the slow, quiet silver car

Great run over & back - roof off both ways - Kev has a great satnav that appears to dodge the rain clouds

Yes it was a great "mini" meet and so Tinks gets yet another prize... as the only one who turned up in a mini mind you it was Mrs Tinks' not his ...

weather was kind and hopefully everyone got home safe.

Bobs Cerbie sounded great as he left. I was well impressed by the M too.

will do it again...
