MOT fail, Whoop Whoop!

Yup, Whoop whoop. I was expecting to have to buy new shocks/springs, new bushes, and all the work that goes with them (just my luck)

Anyway, fails were.....

Brake lights not working.

Passenger door wont open from in the car.

Near side dipped beam, not working.

Indicator light (inside car) not working.

Steering wheel nut loose.

I'm over the moon. Been sorting it out tonight, and i broke the brake switch. Which was the problem.

Any ideas where to buy a new one.

All the other stuff should be easy, haha like adjusting the brake switch.

Cheers all. Hope to take it out soon, after years of ownership, and it being stored somewhere. The time is near, very near. Whoop whoop.

Waiting for replies about the switch, i can deal with the rest, while you lot cancel the last SCH, and redo it next week lol.

Or there's always Ebay,

Ford Capri/Escort/Cortina etc looks very similar or the Land Rover Series 3 one looks like could fit (metal rather than plastic) ?

Forget all that, just looked at TVR Carparts, only £4 for the "real thing" !

Search for "brake light switch" didn't find it but "brake light" did ????

Ordered the brake switch from TVR car parts, thanks Norman, and thanks to Neil (TVR Car Parts) i also asked for a price for a pipercross air filter, ordered that as well, cheaper than the well known auction site.

Looking forward to my drive out on Saturday.

Bit late i know, got a pass 3 weeks ago, and been a bit busy, i'm sure
you understand

Sorry, they don't do a smiley with a really really big stupid grin, so i chose that one, lol.

Running very rich at the mo, i put some injector cleaner in and have done about
50 miles, seems to be running on 5 cylinders.

Bit confused, i can take of a HT lead, and the engine dont change revs, it's not a lead or a plug, because i tried it on two others.

Might start a new thread though for this
