chassis outriggers help.

Its been seven years of good ownership now, carried out various refubishment on the chassis over the years by grinding / sanding down to bare metal & treating & applying POR15.
However, seems some parts of the outriggers have been rottting from the inside out & the drivers side rear part is now bearing a big hole, or some may call it a 'break' in the tube.
oh dear, the car passed its mot only a month or two ago with flying colours, no sign od rot!
Trouble is, i need to sell the car as we have a new baby & the wifes not too keen on me fitting the maxi-cosi. So do i try to repair as best as possible, or sell for less with the troubles described in the advert & potentially scare off buyers before they get to the end of the advert?????
Took it to a local place today & they recommend lifting the body, but would rather do a full restoration for about 3k than just a quick fix.
Im in Leicester, anyone know anywhere reasonable?

shame cus she feels really good to drive since setting up the geometry the other week.......

shame cus she feels really good to drive since setting up the geometry the other week.......Have been a few threads on here in the past of Garages that have done outrigger repairs without lifting body by means of a bit of clever cutting and welding, but to my mind there's no way they can get a decent coat or two of paint on the top bit. Maybe just rely on drowning everything in Waxoyl or similar ?
Or sell "as is" and accept a little less, some one who can do own repairs may prefer to do themselves and know its done to their liking ? (e.g. me !)
