For a while now I have wanted to change the front indicators as they are too orange and they are from a Sherpa Van. As there are no alternatives, I thought I would just smoke them to match the new rear smoked lights I have just bought, here is the result.

I think they look better and as I know a few of you have been looking at these recently thought I would post a pic of mine so you know what they would look like. They still flash orange as I have just smoked the originals, so should also be legal!

blimey - i did mine with the halfrauds black tint spray and gave them about 5 coats and they were about half that tint - either you must have given them about 10 coats or its a different spray! Looks good though IMHO - it blends the indicators into the rubber bumper strip

Yes its a spray tint I bought from a local car parts shop, I will get the make of it this evening and let you know which one. I gave them 3 good costs thats all it took, they are quite dark but still flash orange which keeps them legal.

Looks great Mike. Definitely would like to know what spray you used.

Think I may have to convert to Smoked all round, plus a set of Crystal Halogens. Hmmm.... sounds like a lighting overhaul.

The name of the smoke spray I used is

'Savage tail light smoke spray' and costs £14.99

It works well and should be available from most car parts shops, if not I would be happy to buy it and send it over!
