Just came into work today, top down, blasted it down the A1. Pulled into work, sunglasses on, lots of envious looks, gave them a wave over the top of the car and parked up.

What a feeling!!

How could I ever sell???

On the downside I think I may have a leak in my exhaust. Sounds a bit hissy at low revs.

Same here, two great S driving days, the V8 is sitting outside my office window, roof off, waiting for the lunchtime blast!

I warned you...

It'll only get better when the sun properly comes out to play

Get used to the exhaust thing. I've gotta sort mine out again - hissy noises are back. Still, costs bu99er all to patch up again so I'm still

At the Berks TVRCC meet last night MGAUT was there in his S3C, I was telling him about the pops & bangs after the upgrade & the S/Steel exhaust...

So...We had a comparison when we left. (Sorry Mike)

I couldn't believe how quiet the S3C was in comparison, you could actually hear the ENGINE...

And..I didn't realise how loud mine is...

Totally agree with Podie - S/STEEL

Damnit!! I have holed the exhaust manifold, or some part of the exhaust system close to the front of the car!! Horrible, blowing sound from the front under throttle.

Loss of power, and poo economy. Good thing I'm home in 2 weeks. Maybe weld it, maybe patch, maybe new manifolds. Will have to see. Just as the weather improves. Grrrrr....

Just remember my graphs were taken prior to the injectors being cleaned... and I had leaks in the manifolds as well...

I have found that you can make a half decent teporary repair to holes in the manifold or other part of the exhaust with a bit of JB weld and a beer can. Carefully cut a piece out of the can bigger than the hole to be repaired, clean area round hole, apply JB weld to back of can, push onto hole. Needs to be JB weld or similar to withstand the heat. Normal araldite will not do. Faifly easy to remove when you want to repair the hole properly. Had a similar repair on my car for over a year before I finally replaced the pipe.
