Top Radiator Hose

Guys, Straight through the MOT ( no advisories,phew ! )on the way home could smell coolant,only to find the top radiator hose has a split right on the inner bend. Culprit was the alternator belt just catching the hose...never even noticed.
Can anyone please tell me where I can get a replacement (part list is S28K 10026) for my 1990 S3 ?
Having spent a bleedin fortune this year on parts I really don't want the expense of having to purchase a whole new silicon kit. Have trawled google but rapidly getting nowhere.
Would really appreciate your knowledge on this one please.

what we figured out at that time is you need a Quinton Hazell RH1888 hose, but about that time we saw that they had dried up and you will be very lucky to find one now... independant motor factors might have one ?

otherwise it will be a case of Silicon or fabricate one from other bits... you might get some ideas here...

Oh and dont be fooled into thinking its a Ford hose...

ACT will flog you the correct hose - you don't have to buy a kit. I bought one in blue silicon for £27 + vat

Could cut where split is and use something like this

(maybe find one a nearer than Hong Kong with a bit more searching

I took the old hose into a motor factor, they let me rummage through a box of old stock, till I found one that was had the right "bend and twist" in it - it was about a foot too long though. I bought it for about £5 and then cut out the section I needed. The two bits I cut off fitted the top hose from the radiator (the ones that connect to the metal pipe between the radiator and the swirl pot).
