refurb finished BUT!!!!!!!!!

The car is back together and ready for its MOT but the tickover is to high 1200RPM and a lot of noise at the aircleaner end, looking back sleeptalker had a similar problem last week ,
today ive made sure the throttle is backed right off.
taken the intake tubes of plenum to find the forward intake sucking in air on tickover .removed the ISCV and cleaned it with carb cleaner replaced it ,but remain the same
disconnected the battery to reset the ecu and run up to temp with fans on off .diconnected the ISCV and the engine settled to 800RPM and appeared fine ,checked servo pipe ,ok also the fuel regulator vacuum all appear ok ,my question is has anyone a gallon of petrol and a match ..............kev ..
