Rocker Covers

Decided it's time to spruce up the engine bay. I really want to brighten up the rocker covers and like the ones on the old Tower View Racing website, part polished and part powder coated in the body colour, take a look at these.

Trouble is, they no longer seem to be in business. Does anyone know where I could get similar work done, I am located in the SE, Hertfordshire.

Ooh ooh ooh ! That I like ! Any more pictures ? I need inspiration for mine but I'm not keen on the multi-coloured hoses etc. That's the nicest I've seen so far !

I see you are na engineer, could you design a proper bonnet hinge so that it lifts up as it opens? Joe

How did I miss those ? Thanks, very nice.

Wrong kind of Engineer I'm afraid. I'm a Radio Engineer so I could design you an antenna or a wireless broadband receiver but you wouldn't want to use a hinge I'd put together with my soldering iron !

Thanks Joe. I really liked the idea of getting them done partly in body colour / powder coated. Seems like it's hard to fine somewhere to do that now though....

Hi Joe,

Yes it was me and in fact my dashboard and door trims are there now, having been dropped off by the TVR Centre last night. Malcolm Hall at London Carriage Craft has also just launched his website:

He's very familiar with TVRs.

Are you sending your over ?

I just need to decide what veneer to have now !

It's a job for next winter but I'd like to see your's when it's done. If you don't mind I'd also like to have a look at what's behind the dash when I'm over at the TVR Centre next so I can get an idead of what I'm letting myself in for. There's no address on the LCC website that I can see. Have you any idea where they are so I can go and have chat with them? I'm guessing Hatch End from the dialing code. Thanks. Joe

By all means go and take a look. My car will be there for a while. I'm having a ton of work done include chassis refinish (hopefully theu won't find anything too sinister), a starting problem sorted, the veneer, some leather repair, and some bling on the engine. Not sure exactly where LCC are located but I remember being told it was Watford.
