Rage! Oh the rage and more problems!!

My lovely S3 has now decided to add to the list of problems that I've had in the shape of a 10 pence sized hole in the right hand exhaust manifold, right on the bend. Looks like corrosion rather than scrape damage.

Went out on Sunday, bought:

2 axel stands
1 wire brush
1 Gum repair bandage
2 Tin of Gun Gum

Spent a while under the car, in the rain bandaging and smearing paste on.

Seems to have worked quite well, only a slight leak now. At least it only has to last 2 weeks and a trip down to London

Then to top my day off I got some racist ba***rds shouting things at me whilst driving back from Halfords, things not very nice to say the least.

And! Some kid threw a stone at me from a bridge and chipped my windscreen!!

That sounds like a particularly crap weekend Chris!

I think it's been said before, but when you have the misfortune to come across life's ar$eholes and generally jealous to$$ers, you just have to try and remind yourself that you're the one who's driving the TVR!

Right enough Chris, sounds like a rubbish sequence of events. Forget the racists, not worth giving another thought to, my manifolds have done the same last month on both sides, and at the end of the day there are always people worse off than you - at least you have a TVR to get problems with, some can only dream!!

On the good side, autoglass has said that I can have a new windscreen on Wednesday for £50 on my insurance, without effecting my NCB.

Also spoken to Tim at ACT, who has said that I may be able to get away with just fixing the down pipes, which will be a lot cheaper.

Now feeling a lot better. If I can sell my wheels, then I may ring ACT and get a SS exhaust
