The car is going to Autoglass depot tomorrow for a new screen, anyone used them? Apparently it is not a job they can do on the roadside and they want the car for most of the day!

Yep, just had mine done yesterday. Car had to be in all day as well. Good job done, they even replaced my wiper blades. I think it's somthing to do with the way the screen is sealed in.

Only down side was the loss of all my PH livery on the car.

£60 excess on my insurance, doesn't affect my NCD. I think if you stump up cash you are looking over £300. Wildfire did they give you a choice of tint / clear screen, if so which did you choose?

I went for the top tint one, as that's what I had before and I quite like it.

Cost me £50 on my insurance, because some little scrote threw a stone at me on Sunday chipping it in 2 places.

Used autoglass in Salisbury. Excellent job, no complaints.

Except that they had never heard of a TVR S2 and had the screen listed as for a "Griffith S Tourer" what ever that may be!?

Did you have thwe same trouble?
